Shannon is a senior biomedical engineering major participating in Widener's 4+1 Masters program and pursuing a minor in mechanical engineering. Outside of her participation in SWE, she is also a member of Tau Beta Phi, the Honors Program in General Education, Biomedical Engineering Society, and has newly vested her Oskin Leadership Institute Certificate.
Shannon loves the motivational power that SWE has on young women through their outreach initiatives and she is looking forward to leading Widener's empowering body of women! Allison is a senior civil engineering major, with a minor in environmental engineering, participating in the co-op program. Outside her participation in SWE, she is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers.
As a leader in the community, Allison wanted to bring her leadership skills for the benefit of other women in the field. She hopes to engage others to enhance their personal and professional growth in the field of engineering. |
Madi Radnoff - Secretary

Madi is a sophomore chemical engineering and chemistry dual degree major. Outside her participation in SWE, she is a member of the Widener Field Hockey team and volunteers with BMES at the Chester STEM Academy.
Madi is excited contribute to SWE at Widener, and to encourage young women and girls to pursue careers in the STEM field. |
Shayla Joselle De Leon - Treasurer

Shayla Joselle is a junior chemical engineering/chemistry major. She served as SWE's social media representative her sophomore year. She is also involved in Alpha Omega Epsilon, professional and social sorority, Chemistry Club, American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Spanish Club.
Shayla Joselle has a passion for inspiring women in STEM to thrive in the industry and to uplift each other in a male dominated setting. She hopes to promote the empowerment of women through SWE and is so humbled to be working with such an amazing team of women. |
Kayla Battaglioli - SGA Representative

Kayla is a senior biomedical engineering major. In addition to her involvement in SWE, she is President of Widener's Biomedical Engineering Society chapter and a member of Alpha Omega Epsilon professional and social sorority. She is also an active participant in Widener Music's Pep Band, Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Wind Ensemble.
Kayla has a passion for assisting those in need. She utilizes SWE as an opportunity to get to know other female engineers and be inspired by her peers and professionals. |
Taylor Kohnow - Social Media Representative

Taylor is a sophomore robotic engineering major. Outside of SWE, Taylor also participates in engINe, Robotics Club, serves as the Philanthropy chair for BMES and leads BMES G2S, a program where Widener students visit local STEM schools to educate them about careers in Engineering through fun activities.
Taylor looks forward to being more involved in SWE and hopes to inspire women engineers to have confidence in themselves in a male dominated field. |
